“The Sanctuary of Truth” Thailand’s Largest Wooden Carved Architecture

Pattaya, located an hour and a half away from the capital city Bangkok, is a beach city which attracts many foreign visitors, not only an incredible night life but also the beaches that seem to be busy all day.

The Sanctuary of Truth is a wooden carved sculpture whose decoration reflects the ancient vision of earth. It was awarded one of the Unseen in Thailand tourist attractions. I find this place is really amazing even though the admission was a wee bit pricey (฿500/adult) as this city’s living cost is higher than other cities.

My visit to the Sanctuary of Truth was a few weeks ago during home visit in Thailand. The weather was lovely as it was not too humid compared to where I live in Japan. I came here with my best friend from high school and my mother who kindly sacrificed her Saturday to give us a lift here, thanks mum! One thing I would recommend is to not to wear shorts as you have to hire for a ฿200 skirt to cover your sexy legs, you get your money back once you return the skirt.

Activities:
There are plenty of activities at varied fares to do at this place such as having a look inside the sanctuary, riding the all-terrain vehicles, riding the elephants and much more!

Also, you can take buses from international(Suvarnabhimi) airport to Pattaya.
